Ecological Design
1996
“Ecological Design” was arranged for the Akademie Fur Gestaltung in Munster in 1996. This laboratory brought attention to the design of objects with special ecological characteristics in the manufacture of industrial products. The use of recycled plastics, as had already been experimented with in children’s furniture for Cooperativa Gonzagarredi of Mantua, and other items of industrial waste such as air tubes were used in an event called “Ecologica”. The students actively made several plans and models which provided the motivation for their final chosen project. With the collaboration of Irene Ivoi, Manfred Heilemann, Constanze Unger, Walter Bourichter, and Giuseppe Del Debbio.
