Earth
2008
The work done in Kikinda, Serbia, called ‘Earth’, was produced in a small town which borders Hungary and Romania. The installation was realized on a large lawn facing an immense furnace where the land had been worked to make sculptures over a period of 30 years. Consisting of a flat 15 x 11 meter map of the world, the piece was made up of the fragments of old sculptures that had been found settled in every corner of the field over decades. Carried out in collaboration with Outside Project – Center for International Studies of Art, Dejan Atanackovic, and Angela Nocentini.
