– Babel’s Tower

Babel’s Tower

‘Babel’s Tower’ was a dish made up of a collection of elements considered together like a menu. The plate was served for several days at La Corte dell’Orso restaurant in Venice, home of the curatorial project. Formed of a truncated cone made of layers that recalled stairs, this edible shape encouraged cultural exchange between two different civilizations, Muslim and Christian, through tastes, flavors, and scents. Diverse ingredients were mixed and baked inside latex cooking moulds. With the collaboration of Gaetano Cunsolo and Cecilia Tirelli.
