‘Urbans Emotions’ was an exhibition of projects by design students of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, presented at the Hygeia cultural and commercial center in Shinjuku, Tokyo, in October 2011. Koji Yano of the Tokyo Digital Hollywood University, Naoyoshi Itani, Madeleine Obert, and Stefano Filipponi also collaborated. Dozens of projects demonstrated instances where implementation would improve the quality of public life in the city of Florence. Electronic renderings made in Florence were then printed out for display in Tokyo, where an inauguration took place between Italy and Japan over Skype.
